Tom T.

General Manager

Tom is the warehouse manager for a company in Irvine, CA that sells power transmission and mechanical products such as chains, bearings and sprockets. He first reached out to us last January but ended up moving forward with another company. During the process, the competitor failed to properly engineer the facility’s pallet racking design because they incorrectly measured the depth of the concrete slab. The issues with the engineering calculations resulted in the rejection of the high pile storage and city permits.

Tom was in urgent need of help to determine the best and safest storage solution for the company’s new facility and needed assistance getting permits approved. Our Assistant Sales Manager, David Haunte, was able to assist in making the necessary adjustments including re-engineering the pallet racking design with the correct slab specifications and providing the proper racking materials to support the loads.

Our team quickly got to work, revising the floor plan, determining and obtaining the racking material needed, supporting the customer while undergoing inspections, obtaining the revised high pile storage and city permits and finally delivery and installation of the pallet racking system.
