It is Thanksgiving week, and you’re probably already looking forward to spending the weekend gobbling down on delicious food with family and friends! But before we get to the weekend, let’s all remember to spend some time saying ‘thank you’ to all those who have helped you be where you are today.
Here at QMH we have taken steps to not only do this for ourselves but to also help families suffering from homelessness experience a Thanksgiving they can feel thankful for. In order to give back, we decided to put together Thanksgiving Boxes filled with the following:
- A 15-20lb. frozen turkey
- Disposable aluminum roasting pan
- 5 pound bag of potatoes
- 2 large boxes of stuffing
- 6 cans of vegetables
- 4 cans of gravy
- 4 cans of cranberry sauce
- 2 non refrigerated graham cracker pie crust
- 4 boxes of instant pudding mix
QMH, in collaboration with Faith Community Church, is proud to say that as a team we were able to put together 40 Thanksgiving Boxes which will be able to feed approximately 10 individuals per box this upcoming holiday!
We also announce that we will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23rd and Friday, Nov. 24th so our valued employees can take the time to be with family and friends, and to also simply say ‘thank you’ to those around them. We will be back to regular business hours on Monday, Nov. 27th
Wishing everyone a lovely and grateful Thanksgiving!
